A few things to say… alright? I can’t wait to go home!!!!! I cant wait to be away from scorpions and lizards and oversized cockroaches and spiders and poisonous centipedes and bumble bees and beetles and bed bugs.

NO LIE!!!!

I don’t want to live here anymore!! I really do not…. Number one, I’m lonely at night (so I’m kind of a baby yes). Numero dos… the bugs. Numero tres, well…. It is really just not a Sylvie kind of country. Oh boy.

We went out to eat on Friday to this Italian place (in Mexico, I know right? But you would be surprised at how many sushi stands there are here) and went out to El Centro that night where we found plenty of Americanos. It was a good time until it started POURING. That was alright because we ended up at the boy’s house where I learned how to do……. The Laffy Taffy. You better believe it, I was taught the laffy taffy dance in Mexico. The best part about it was when Andy (I’m sorry I have to say this but Andy is a white boy ok) shook his booty like he knew how to get down. Dios Mio, it was nearly the best part of the night! The guy really knows how to shake his butt…. And it is still on my to-learn list!

Yesterday, we went on a random trip to Mexico City and I took a bunch of pictures. We took the metro which is the train system and taxis and buses and it is all really sort of loco. It’s amazing yet at the same time, sooooooo depressing. There are kids on the street as young as 2 years old hustling and selling things for money and all you can do is keep walking. Being here means being right in the middle of various political campaigns all throughout the country and they are so very different here. I can explain some of the weird things later if I’m ambitious.

Meanwhile.. I found a freakin lizard in my bathroom last night. For real???!!! I was not about to shower with a little lizard in my shower just hopping around on my walls … I almost had a heart attack I kid you not. I called upon my roommates downstairs to help me out because they seriously have balls of steel.. they{re awesome I’m so lucky to have them. In any case, after seriously half an hour of screaming and jumping around we finally scooped it into a basket and released it back into the garden. Oh yeah, that night it rained on us?? There was this centipede that was literally the width and length of a pencil, maybe longer, red and green! Just about my worst nightmare ok? Squirming around.. It was super fast and it was super scary and oh yeah…. It is super poisonous.

I

Cant

Wait

To

Come

Home.

Dios mio… I feel like I am so blessed and so lucky to be living in the US of A and I don’t think that you could ever appreciate that until you leave the country. For serious.

I meet more people everyday and they’re great!! And… I miss home A LOT. Sooo much I can’t even believe it because I still have two more weeks here!! Dos semanas!! But I’m going to Aculpulco next weekend so hopefully that will be awesome…..

Did I mention the bus rides are crazy here? Its ridiculously a trip, I mean.. There should honestly be a rollercoaster ride called Bus Ride in Mexico because they’re insane.

Talk to you all very soon, yo espero :)

Alright so I stole my subject title from Applebees.. which is lame because I do not like Applebees at all. By the time I get out of this country I will be sooooo sick of Mexican food, it is not even funny. Our Senora Margarita serves us awesome food.... I{m always so full. OK so this keyboard is a little bit whack... anyway, I{m at this internet cafe...it{s about 30 cents per 15 minutes haha...el cheapo. A supermercado is right above me and my house in mexico is just a few blocks away. I live with a 65 yr old grandma and her almost 3 yr old grandson he is soooo BIG and so cute haha... little jorge.... he{s seriously like one of those huge babies you see on riki lake... but he{s so precious!! I love my roomates Laura and Laticia... hm..Last night Senora Margarita made some tortillas with cactus or something...tasted like olives YUCK no one really had the balls to tell her it was nasty so we drowned it with beans... haha.

I[ve been sooooo busy, I{m so sorry guys I hardly have any free time and all the free time i{ve had I have been doing homework and other necessary activities. I{ve posted a few pictures up. <>

LAST NIGHT I KILLED A FREAKIN SCORPION!!! Dios mio!!!! I was soooooo disgusted... there are so many huge bugs here.... dios mio! Arent they poisoneous or something yiiiiikes I was scared out of my mind.!!!!!!!

Probably going to take some salsa dancing classes next week.

What else to say__ oops, I don{t know how to do a question mark... the profile pic is of my mexican bedroom. It{s sunny every single freakin day. The coursework is intense.... so intense! <>

I miss y{all. See I can{t find the apostrophe key either. SORRY.!!!

*You can't hold your breath on fidelity.

*I like asian food but... I hate chinese food. I like chocolate, raisins, nuts, crackers or pretzels but.. I hate trail mix. I love tortilla chips but... I don't like Doritos. I want to get married, have babies and stuff... but I don't want a relationship at all. I could think of a few more if I put some effort into it.

*Don't you guys love this line from PCD? "Every boy's the same since I've been I been in the 7th grade" cause actually, 7th grade is right on the money...

*I still need to see V for Vendetta, badly..

*I can't wait for the new Dixie Chicks album... I can't wait for the new Pink album either because both BUTCH WALKER and MAX MARTIN are working on it with her, that's ammmmmazing. I wanna hear Christina Aguilera's new album, supposedly more blues-y and soul.

*Life is so short and it has proven so true in the last few days. That is all I have to say about that one..

*I just want to live and love and learn and move on, sometimes that seems a bit much to want in my life

5 Days til Mexico. Batting Cages. O.A.R's "Love and Memories" and then this new book

Got back from chillin with some mamas... I can't fall asleep now. It's 2 a.m!

See the subject title? That's what this post is all about... haha!! Let's start with the fact that I leave in 5 days! Not sure how ready I am to dip but uh... I'm excited! I've always wanted to go to and have always been interested in Mexico... I'm not talking Cancun, Los Cabos, Acupulco, Conzumel... I'm talking Mexico, the people, the culture, the history, the food, the arts. Not gonna lie though~ I wanna hit up Aculpulco which is >3 hours away for at least one weekend! Diego Rivera murals up close, Teotihuacan pyramid ruins, palace of Cortes, it's gonna be sweet.

So today, S.H, K.L, J.G, and B.K and I are gonna hit up Grand Slam's batting cages for a couple of hours. A.A you are more than welcome but we weren't sure if you would wanna join? The best part about it for J.G is the added entertainment of watching "dumb and dumber" try to fend off these balls... pfft~ watch me OWN this.

Next, I'm hooked on "Love and Memories" by O.A.R.... it might be impossible to hate this song, no?

And then I bought this book on Saturday and I'm afraid I will finish it by tomorrow! I bought it for the plane ride, actually. It was sooooo interesting that I would have finished it today if I hadn't fallen asleep~ It's called The Kite Runner which had tonnnnnnns of great reviews and mine to add. It also made me terribly sad..

The things that I don't write about are the things that make me the most sad: Things that pertain to intimate relationships and things that pertain to international (sometimes even national) issues. I just think we should learn to be more grateful about the things and the life we have been given because we are so. Freakin. Blessed.

Please give me any suggestion for any good read!!!

It's Mayyyyyy babyyyyyy! Lot's of stuff going on, finals are next week and then I'm totally free for 1 week before I leave for Mexico!!!! 19 more days! I just bought my plane tickets last night, figured I might need one of those...

I still want to learn how to play Battleship. And while we're at it~ how to swim, how to play poker, how to play chess, how to golf, how to kick ass, how to shake ass, how to sew, do a really impressive magic trick, whistle, and so on...
